Europe's No. 1 Horrorpunk-Band THE OTHER will be part of the special on "Horror", that is aired on the German-French culture-channel "ARTE", this Friday at 23.10 (11.10 pm).

See us performing "The End Of Our Time" for the cameras and in a short interview, plus our video-clip for "Lovers Lane".

Europe's Horrorpunk-band No 1 is proud to announce a very special show at this years renowed WEEKEND OF HORRORS, Germany's largest Horror-Festival, which takes place in Bottrop, Germany on May 9th and 10th.

THE OTHER will hit the stage on May 9th for free for all ticket-holders to the festival. Celebrety guests at the WEEKEND OF HORRORS include Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Lance Henriksen (Aliens, Near Dark), Jake Busey (Starship Troopers, The Frighteners) and Heather Langenkamp (Nightmare on Elm Street).

Our kick-off show into the new year and probably the only Headliner-Clubshow of 2009 will take place at the PITCHER in Düsseldorf/Germany. Playing the Pitcher has become a nice tradition since this venue is the smallest and hottest club we still play. So be there to witness another sweaty and scary THE OTHER show on January 10th (Saturday)

New THE OTHER - Album postponed / THE OTHER interviews
The release of „The Place To Bleed“ has been postponed until May 16th. The band will however sell the CD early at the Fiendforce Fest in Solingen (April 25th), the show with THE BONES in Cologne (May 4rd) and at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig (May 12th) for you early-birds and beloved fiends.

THE OTHER will support Rock-Legends THE CULT next Thurday, March 6th, at the Live Music Hall in Cologne. The band is very proud to have this opportunity since all members have been fans for years and The Cult-vocalist Ian Astbury has been a main-inspiration (along with Danzig, Vanian and Presley) for Rod Usher since day 1.
THE OTHER's former bassist ANDY ONLY will join the band on bass for the whole show, since Migore Drake is on a trip to a coffin-sales-convention in Transylvania.

Get your tickets early enough cause the venue only holds 1.500 people and this is THE CULT's only show in Germany.
THE OTHER will be on stage at 8.15pm, followed by the band ZERO and headliners THE CULT.
Be there - be scared!

The Other record the new album
The band has started to record the yet untitled follow-up to “We Are Who We Eat” with producer Dirk Ulrich since end of November. The album will be finished in the middle of January and will be released in April. It will again feature artwork from renowned photographer “Angst im Wald” and consist of 13 new tracks. Some of the titles: “The Creature”, “The Murder in the House of Wax”, “Become Undead”, “The End of our Time”, “The Change in me”, “The Dark World Order”, etc. Ex-Bassist Andy Only has joined his former bandmates to record some backing-vocals!

The Other songs appear in yet another movie:
„Zeit der Phantasien“
„Zeit der Phantasien“ is the new horror-movie from independent-director Volker Trachternach and his company Dark Sun. It features a female serial killer that gets off on murdering guys and girls while they have sex. Expect some great splatter-scenes and some very lovely females. One of them is Pornstar Leonie Saint who has appeared in The Other's Videoclip to “Lover's Lane”. “Zeit der Phantasien” features the songs “Beware of Ghouls” and “Hyde Inside” from The Other, as well as tracks from other Fiendforce Bands like Rezurex, The Spook, Shadow Reichenstein and The Crimson Ghosts.

The Other part of „Graveyard of the living dead“ – Soundtrack
Mark Rohnstock's new horror-flick “Graveyard of the living dead” – distributed via his company “Infernal Films” - will be out around Halloween and feature a very special soundtrack by The Other and Blitzkid among others. The director has been a fan of Horrorpunk and The Other for a long time and both him and the band are glad, that the cooperation worked out. THE OTHER supports Goth-Punk Legends THE DAMNED
The Other is more than proud to support their all-time-heroes The Damned at four gigs. The first – the soon to be legendary HELL NIGHTS FEST – will take place on July 21 st at the Funbox Amalie in Essen/GER (tickets: www.dieinstyle.de ). It features The Damned, Rezurex, The Other, Heartbreak Engines, Zombie Ghost Train and Devil in Disguise.

The Damned will return in August for three dates with The Other. Here's the confirmed shows:
Aug 23 rd : Berlin – SO36 (The Damned, The Other, Blitzkid Texas Terri),
Aug 24 th . Hamburg - Markthalle (The Damned, Peter Pan Speedrock, The Other, Blitzkid, Razors, Sewer Rats)

The Other Video-Clip
THE OTHER just finished filming their first video-clip to the song "Lover's Lane" with producers PeeWee Vignold and Heiko Bender who were also resonsible for a hugely successfull Blutengel DVD and the movie "Kinder der Nacht" with Bela B. and Kelly Trump. Obviously a big old black hearse and five very unlucky girls played a major-role in the filming of the clip. Among the victims were German Porn-Star Leonie ( www.myspace.com/leoniesaint ) as well as the Kinkats ( www.kinkats.com ) Dini and Jill Diamond! Rod and Sarge's ghoulfriends were also part of the filming and died a violent death.

You can see the final result in July HERE and on youtube, as well as on compilation DVDs, our next studio-album, selected TV-stations, etc.

The Other made it back home from their first ever US-Tour with label-mates Blitzkid and Rezurex. The tour was a big success for the German four-piece and many fiends came to check out the shows. Fans in Germany can find a tour-diary and photos in the next issues of OX Magazine and GOTHIC Magazine.

After seven years of playing together in the GHOULS and later in THE OTHER, Bassist Andy Only leaves THE OTHER to concentrate on his life among the living. THE OTHER is very sad to see him go. That's why we're having a farewell-bash at Andy's favorite bar in his hometown of Düsseldorf.

THE OTHER will play an extra-long set of songs that haven't been played live regularly and include some Misfits Cover-Songs as well. If you want to party with us , it's too late, though. The show is SOLD OUT already. We're sorry!

The band will continue with a new bassist that is already rehearsing with THE OTHER with Andy's help! All confirmed shows will take place!

Fangs to all the ghouls and fiends in Austria and Germany for making the HELL NIGHTS Tour a huge success.
